Antifreeze for radiator

The cooling system all year filled with a mixture of water, antifreeze and anti-corrosion agents. This mixture prevents damage due to freezing and corrosive factors limescale deposits and also slightly raises the boiling point of the coolant. Thanks to the screw cap on the expansion tank, have warm engine cooling circuit within an overpressure of about 1.4 bar, which also contributes to the boiling point of the coolant. Higher boiling point coolant is required for normal functioning of the engine cooling system. At too low boiling point liquids which may lead to thermal overpressure, because of which the disrupted coolant circulation and cooling of the engine decreases. Therefore, the cooling system during the year have to be filled with a coolant concentrates.
A warning

Use only approved for Mercedes coolant concentrate.

Since some time component of the corrosion in the coolant loses its effective impact, the coolant should be replaced every 3 years.
A warning

If the content of antifreeze in the coolant exceeds 55% (corresponding to the protection of -45 ? C), the frost protection is reduced and deteriorating heat dissipation cooling system.
