Check the thickness of the clutch disc in the assembled state

Clutch is a self-regulating system and does not require maintenance, so it is impossible to determine the wear on the clutch disc by the clutch pedal backlash. To check the thickness of the clutch disc in the assembled state, it requires a special control template that can be made independently.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Make a test gauge sheet metal thickness of 0.8 mm on a scale of 1: 1.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Place the template (4) in the switchgear clutch to lock into the groove of the plastic insert.
4. If the cut mark pattern (arrow) are buried behind the flange of the distribution cylinder clutch, the clutch disc still has sufficient thickness.
5. If a cut mark will remain visible, even though the template is fully inserted, then the clutch disk has reached its wear limit and must be replaced.
6. Lower the car.
