Chassis Model T station wagon

At the T-model used the same scheme suspension: double wishbone front and multilink rear. Proven design only adjusted to the larger mass and greater capacity wagon.
Cushioning and shock absorption in the T-models have a special setting, taking into account the increased weight. Therefore, negative changes in comfort and driving performance have occurred.
The rear suspension has a T-model difference stretcher, which is made of metal and a larger cross-section. The rear suspension has other settings.
Large capacity of the T-series models also led to the use of its increased tire dimension 205/65 R15 (sedan 195/65 R15) and drive size I x 7 15 (sedan - 6,5 J x 15). On vehicles in the bundling and Avantgarde model E-420 used tires and 215/55 R16 wheels 7,5 J x 16.
The brake discs on the rear wheels T-models have a diameter of 290 mm, which is 12 mm longer than the sedan. The thickness of the disc is 12 mm (the sedan - 9 mm).
