Check coir sheaths and play tips of steering drafts
Hinge tie rod is located between the right and left steering rod and the pivot arm on the knuckle. Steel head hinge covers self-lubricating plastic liner and mud cover protects against dirt and moisture. Tips of steering drafts with damaged covers or backlash must be replaced.

1. Check antisplash covers 3 (Fig. 7.6) joints rod ends for cracks. 2. Check whether the hinge gap. It is better to use a pit. 3. Turn the wheel in the appropriate direction, take the hinge arm and ask the assistant to rotate the steering wheel from side to side (to facilitate start up the engine turns). If backlash is detected, the hinge must be replaced. 4. Place the vehicle on the front of the stand and grasp the hand of the tie rod. Strong swinging movements joint check clearance. If there is backlash replace the hinge. 5. The same test can be performed on the internal hinge. Before that, you must remove the cover from the rack. The presence of the backlash of the internal hinge points to the need to replace the entire steering rod.
