Installation of the front hub bearing clearance



SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Place the vehicle on the stand and remove the corresponding front wheel.

2. Use a screwdriver to pry the lid in a circle 3 (Fig. 7.8) and remove the hub.
3. Conversely, set a wheel on the three bolts.
4. Tighten the locknut 1 to the disappearance of the hub axial play. Thus it is necessary to turn the wheel. At the service station for this operation using a special indicator. The permissible axial play of the hub - 0.01-0.02 mm.
5. Before installing the back cover of the hub, check the amount of high-temperature lubricant in it. It should be filled to about the upper edge. Used grease 150-gram tube has a catalog number 001 989 2351/10.
6. Fit the back cover of the hub using a piece of pipe of suitable diameter.
7. Install the front wheel and lower the car. Tighten the wheel bolts to 110 Nm.
