Removal of the spring rear suspension



For this to work well you need a special jig. Spring on the car is in a compressed state and has approximately four times the pre-compression. Therefore, the high risk of injury. When replacing the spring look for markings. The same applies to rubber feet, which, depending on the model are of different heights.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. The rear of the car set on the stand.

2. Remove the cover arm by undoing two screws (Fig. 7.14).
3. Disconnect the brake pad wear on the arm.
4. Outside set under the jack and lift the lever up until the rear axle is horizontal. Make sure the car is securely fastened.
5. The jig is set on three sides by a spring so that as much as possible all the turns were blocked.
6. Squeeze the spring as long as it can be removed from the plates.
7. Remove the self-locking nuts on the wishbone and remove them together with washers.
8. Lower the lever and remove the spring with rubber feet.
9. If replacement is necessary, slowly unclench spring and remove the rubber support.
10. Before installation, check the back of the rubber bearing wear, if necessary replace it. To facilitate the return of installation apply to support dishwashing detergent.
11. Clean the bottom of the cup on the control arm and upper seat.
12. A compressed spring set to the lower cup in such a way that the end coil engages on the cup.
13. Install the bolt with a new self-locking nuts and washers on the lever and screw a few turns.
14. Again raise the jack to the rear suspension has taken a horizontal position.
15. Now tighten the nut on the lever 70 N ?� m.
16. Relieve the spring and remove the jig. Check the clarity of the spring planting in the cups.
17. Complete the installation and lower the car.
