Check shock absorbers shot



SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Remove the stem from the protective sleeve, rubber feet and spacer sleeve.
2. Check the stem for scratches and bends. Curved rod should seize upon compression.

3. The gas and oil in the damper chamber 4 (Fig. 7.11) separated by a separating piston. Check the amount of oil as follows: push the plunger to the level of the separating piston rod and measure the path. New shock absorbers are the backlash of 0-2 mm, the value of the path to replace the rod - 20 mm.
4. Push the plunger to the level set by car, and release. At the same time there should be no clapping or hissing sounds.
5. Shock absorbers can be replaced by one, but it is important to observe the color coded. When the old shock absorbers recommended replacing steam.
