Check coir sheaths and play ball joint

Ball joint
Fig. 7.7. The ball joint 1, 4 - Self-nut; 2 - lower wishbone; 3 - mud cover; 5 - knuckle; 6 - the ball joint

Ball joints (right and left between the wishbone and the hub body) mounted in plastic inserts with long-term grease (Fig. 7.7). Cases of plastic to protect them from dirt and moisture. Ball joints require no maintenance. The damaged mud cover is the need to replace the hinge. Late detection of damage Dirt cover is premature replacement of the hinge, the rest does not require maintenance.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Turn the wheel all the way in the appropriate direction.
2. Check the mud cover hinge left and right for damage. At the same time it should shrink - so you can find hidden cracks.
3. The damaged mud cover can not be replaced individually. The ball joint assembly varies.
