Removing the caliper
1. Lift the car, lock it and remove the wheel. 2. On the front wheel: free wire wear and remove the connector. 3. Open the bleed screw, once press the brake pedal and hold it in this position (see. "Practical tips"). 4. Remove the brake hose from the brake pipe on the body. 5. Remove the wheel speed sensor. 6. Remove the two hex bolts to the steering knuckle and remove the caliper with its support. 7. When the assembly to mounting bracket Always use new self-locking bolts.

8. The front-wheel bracket bolts to the steering knuckle tighten to 115 N ?� m using a torque wrench (Fig. 8.20), on the rear wheels - 50 N ?� m (or 70 Nm for vehicles with ASR). 9. If the bolts are poorly wrapped, remove the remnants of the retaining structure Dies (on the front wheels - M12; rear - M10). 10. If the caliper is disassembled only to replace the disk, there is no need to disconnect the brake hose. In this case, only unscrew the bracket bolts to the steering knuckle. Caliper does not leave hanging on the brake hose and tie it with wire. 11. If the brake hose was removed and the system is depressurized, after assembly, bleed the brakes.
