Replacing the rear brake pads
1. Loosen the wheel bolts, lift the car, set on supports and remove the rear wheel. 2. If the wear, remove the connector.

3. Knock out the retaining pins from the caliper and remove the spring (Fig. 8.18). 4. Install a pipe wrench between the guide shoes and the caliper and push the brake pads. 5. crowbar or large screwdriver set between the pads and brake discs, gently squeeze until the end of the old inner block. 6. Similarly, press the external connector, and the internal block should be left installed. When is released pad making sure not to overfill the brake fluid reservoir.

7. wrung out external connector so that you can install a new, with a thicker grip, remove it (Fig. 8.19). Remove the inner brake pad. Pads can be pulled with pliers or a screwdriver. To replace a best buy spare parts, since in this case the kit supplied fasteners, such as locking pins and the locking spring. When buying spare parts from other manufacturers of these parts are often missing. 8. Clean rail brake pad from dirt and deposits. Making sure not to damage the brake piston boot. Use a cloth moistened with alcohol (do not use petrol). 9. On the new pads apply a little special lubricant recommended by Mercedes, and carefully put them into the caliper. First, position the caliper outer block. 10. Set the inner caliper brake pads. 11. Install the springs and locking pins. Trim hammer blow pins to lock in support. 12. Replace the wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts torque of 110 Nm. Similarly, replace the pads at the other rear wheel. 13. Check the brake fluid level.
