Check, removal and installation of shock absorbers

Replacing one shock absorber is permitted if both of the front suspension shock absorber are the same type. The cars can be fitted with a dividing piston dampers without separating piston. On dampers with separating piston between the gas and oil volumes of the piston rod is at the top of the shock absorber at the same time, the dampers without separating piston rod of the piston is at the bottom of the assembled damper.

For a quick check of serviceability of shock absorbers, click on the front corner of the vehicle body, release it and count the number of oscillations of the body to a complete stop. The body has to climb, then stop when driving down.

Withdrawal

With the release of the upper shock absorber car should stand on the ground as well as a shock absorber also serves travel stop suspension. In no case can not rotate the shock-absorber rod.
