Adjusting the parking brake

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Rate the stroke (by the number of clicks of a ratchet) and stress resistance squeezing pedal parking brake. Compare the test results with the requirements of the Specifications, if necessary, make appropriate adjustments.
  2. Remove the rear wheels.
  3. Make preload automatic slack regulator (compensating lever) cable.
  4. Turn the screwdriver to the wheel controller (105) from left to right in until tacking drum parking brake mechanism, - the hub should not be turned by hand.

    Adjusting the parking brake

  5. Release the wheel (105) long enough (about 5 teeth), to have the opportunity once again turning hub by hand.

Regulators both brakes should be released strictly on the same number of teeth!

  1. Unload automatic slack control (compensation lever) cable.
  2. Several times cock a lay brake, check the amount of pedal travel and stress resistance squeezing it. Assess the reliability of locking rear wheel hub with a parking brake, check the freedom of their rotation when the pedal is released (lever under the dash).
  3. Replace the wheel.
