Removal and installation of a brake disk



Details of the installation of a brake disk (for example, the front wheel brake)


PERFORMANCE ORDER

Replacement brake discs must be made in pairs for each axis!

  1. Details of the installation of a brake disk (for example, the front wheel brake mechanism) shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the wheels.
  3. Check the residual thickness of the friction lining pads and visually assess the overall brake disc.
  4. Remove the brake caliper (see. Section Removal and installation of a support), - the need to disconnect the flexible brake hoses missing.
  5. When removing the back plate (61) and release the parking brake to loosen the tension adjustment knob automatic drive cable.
  6. Remove the locking bolt (64) and remove the brake disc, - the bolt must be replaced without fail.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - lightly grease before installing the landing surface of the disk grease molybdenum-containing lubricant.
  8. After replacing the rear disc brakes do not forget to adjust the parking brake (see. Section Adjusting the parking brake) and relieve the load on the automatic controller.
  9. For the shrinkage pad repeatedly depress the foot brake, - should appear firm resistance squeezing.
  10. Check brake fluid level in the reservoir GTZ, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment.
