Replacing the parking brake shoes



Details setting the parking brake shoes


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details setting the parking brake shoes shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the rear wheel brake discs (see. Section Removal and installation of the brake disc).
  3. With the help of a special device (041), disconnect the return spring (111).
  4. Remove the spring anchor (107) and pins (106).
  5. Remove the brake shoes (103) with a rear flange of the drive shaft (68).

If shoes (103) burnt, it is necessary, replace them with a complete return spring (111 and 112) and anchoring elements (106 and 107).

  1. Disconnect the return spring (112) and remove the expander bar (109).
  2. Installation is in the reverse order - resistant and expander strap sliding surfaces (109), install the molybdenum-containing grease lubricated with grease, the same grease lubricate threaded abutment member (104) and the cylindrical portion of the adjusting wheel (s). When installing the proper shoes Release adjustment mechanism and make sure that the wheel controller (s) turned out to be deployed downward track correctness connect coupling (111 and 112) and the anchor (107) springs.
  3. Make the parking brake adjustment (see. Section Adjusting the parking brake) and unload the automatic regulator.
