Replacement brake calipers must be made in pairs for each axis!

Front wheel brake

Details of installation of brake caliper front wheel


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of brake caliper front wheel shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the front wheels.
  3. At a corresponding complete disconnect the wiring (1) and remove the contact sensor Brake pad wear (S10 / 1 - in the case of left brake), self-locking fixing bolts must be replaced without fail.
  4. Using a special gate depress the foot brake so that the lock was replenishing port GTZ. To release the pressure relief valve pumping corresponding slide - try to prevent excessive lowering of the liquid level in the tank.
  5. Remove the banjo bolt (51b) choke connector connected to the caliper of the flexible brake hose (51).
  6. If necessary, remove the brake pads (see. Section Evaluation of wear and replacement of brake pads).
  7. Remove the self-locking screws (35) and remove the caliper (31a) from the knuckle, - the bolts must be replaced without fail.
  8. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the O-rings (51) choke connector.
  9. In summary pump over brake system (see. Section Bleeding brake system).

Rear brake

5 - Line Breaks


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of brake caliper rear wheel shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the rear wheels.
  3. Removing the fitting, remove the hose (51) from a support (31b) of the back brake mechanism - immediately plug the open end of the hose.

Before disconnecting the hose clamp can be pinched.

  1. At a corresponding complete disconnect the wiring (8) and remove the contact sensor Brake pad wear (S10 / 3 - in the case of left brake).
  2. Removing the self-locking screw, remove the sensor (S10 / 3 - in the case of left brake), - the bolt must be replaced without fail.
  3. If necessary, remove the pads from the caliper (see. Section Evaluation of wear and replacement of brake pads).
  4. Remove the self-locking screws (35) and remove the caliper (31b) from the hub assembly, - the bolts must be replaced without fail.
  5. Installation is performed in reverse order - do not forget to replace the O-rings (51) choke connector.
  6. In summary pump over brake system (see. Section Bleeding brake system).
