Check the wiper motor



The wiper motor is in the catchment compartment underneath the windscreen. To check the need to remove the appropriate cover.

Designation of terminals

The motor has the following terminals:

?� Terminal 31 is the addition of mass (the total for the entire electrical equipment of the car).
?� Terminal 53 receives voltage for the first speed wiper.
?� Terminal 53a supplies current () extreme position the wiper. The electric motor receives power through the brush up until the cleaner does not return to its original position when the driver turns off the wiper.
?� Terminal 53b supplies a voltage to the second speed wiper (auxiliary winding).
?� A motor terminal 53e is inhibited when returning after a trip to the wiper has not passed through its parking position.
?� There is not always available: Terminal 53 is powered on to the washer pump.

Check wiper motor

First, you must find out what is defective, or no electric power. This act is as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. undock multipin connector in the motor.
2. Move the 2 auxiliary cable (+) and (-) from the car battery to the wiper motor:

?� One swipe cable from the positive terminal to the battery terminal 53 or 53b.
?� Second, move the cable from the negative terminal of the battery terminal 31 of the electric motor.
3. Now the motor should be used, depending on the terminals involved in the I or II level. If it does not, the motor or the corresponding stage have a defect. Remove the motor.
