Removing and installing rear window wiper motor

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Remove the wiper arm, refer to the appropriate section.
3. Open the tailgate and remove the liner, refer to Section Removal and installation of facing the tailgate.

4. Disconnect the connector (1) of the wiper motor.

5. Remove the water hose from the (2) of the connecting element (3) the jet.
6. Remove the three mounting bolts (4) and remove the motor from the tailgate.

Pre-mark the position of the motor.

Before installing check that the wiper motor is in an extreme position. To do this, briefly Dock Connector and connect the earth cable of the battery. Briefly start the motor and then stop switch so that the motor is stopped at the stop position.

1. Attach the wiper motor on the tailgate. At the same time pay attention to the correct position of the rubber seal at the point of passage in the rear window.
2. Attach a water hose to the connection element.
3. Dock connector wiper motor.
4. Replace the lid tailgate trim, refer to Section Removal and installation of facing the tailgate.
5. Close the tailgate and install the wiper arm, refer to the appropriate section.
6. Attach a weight cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.
7. Check the adjustment of the wiper arm and the work of the jet washer.
