Removing and installing daylight sensor

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Remove the cover (1).

3. Disconnect the connector (2).

4. Open the terminals using a screwdriver (arrow in the illustration) and remove the gauge of daylight (3).

The lens sensor is glued on the windscreen. The lens should be replaced only at the service station.

1. Insert and fix the sensor.
2. Dock connector of the sensor.
3. Fix the cover by pushing it.
4. Connect the earth cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.
