Removal and installation of a cover of the top hatch

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the inside rearview mirror (see. Some of salon equipment).
  2. Remove the trim cover (see. Section Removing and installing trim panels cover the upper hatch).
  3. Open the hatch.
  4. Remove the fastening screws (5) and remove the left and right guide rails (1).
  5. Close the door.
  6. Give fixing nuts (2) on the left and right of the cover (4) of the hatch.
  7. Fed up, remove the cover (4).
  8. Fill in the centering holes left and right centering pins (3).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lubricate special paste (001 981 14 51), the left and right sliding clamps.
  2. After a season with the top cover (4) in the opening of the hatch.
  3. Screw, but do not over-tighten fixing nuts (2) on the left and the right.
  4. Crimp cap (4) with special forceps (arrow).
  5. Tighten the nuts (2) and remove the forceps (arrow).
  6. Open the hatch.
  7. Special paste (001 981 14 51), lubricate the guide rails (1) and tighten them to their staff, without tightening definitively until the fastening screws (5).
  8. Remove the right and left centering pins (3) and adjust the position of the cover in the doorway.

The adjustment cap is best left to specialists Car.

  1. Finally, tighten the mounting screws (5) and replace the trim cover (see. Section Removing and installing trim panels cover the upper hatch).
  2. Install the rear-view mirror (see. Some of salon equipment) and check that the operation of the drive of the top hatch.
