Removing and installing door locks



The front doors

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the interior trim and door insulation film (see. Section Removal and installation of interior trim door assembly), - damage to the film to be replaced.
  2. Remove the window frame (see. Section Removal and installation of window frames door assemblies).
  3. Remove the cover (1) of the castle assembly.
  4. Release the clamp securing the lock (8), thrust (3) of the internal handle and disconnect draft - if necessary, prepare a removable retainer.
  5. Disconnect from the Castle (8) Rod (2 and 4) - damaged latches must also be replaced.
  6. Remove the mounting bolts (5) and remove the uniform lock activator (M14 / 6).
  7. Remove the outside door handle (see. Section Removal and installation of exterior door handles).
  8. Remove the screws (7) and remove a locking assembly (8).
  9. Installation is in the reverse order.

Rear doors

The procedure is similar to the procedure described above for the front door.

In a second embodiment of the models do not forget to check the fuse (5), - in case of need make replacement.

Tailgate

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the trim (see. Section Removal and installation of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
  2. Remove the outside handle (see. Section Removal and installation of exterior door handles).
  3. Remove the inside handle (see. Section Removal and installation of internal door handles).
  4. Remove the lock activator (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
  5. Remove the fastening screws (1) and remove a locking assembly (2).
  6. Remove the rod (3) an activator of the uniform lock.
  7. Remove the clip (4) and disconnect the tie rod (6) of the internal handle.
  8. Installation is in the reverse order. Do not forget to check the fuse (5), in case of need make replacement.

Flap

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Open the rear cover and tool box in the tailgate.
  2. Remove the rivets (2 and 3) and remove the plastic liner (1).
  3. Remove the clip (4) actuating rod (5) and remove the latter from the lever (6) / activator (M14 / 7).
  4. Remove the screws (12) and remove the screw plate (11). By pulling in the direction of the arrows, release the latch (9) left the lock of the door. Release the clip (10) and finally remove the clip (9).
  5. Release the latch and lift the rod (13) from the lever (14).
  6. Give fixing nuts (15) and by filing down, remove a locking assembly with a latch assembly (8) and the sealing element.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of landing pads.
