Removal and installation of a gas-filled tailgate lock (Versatile model)

Details of installation of gas-filled tailgate lock (Versatile model)

1 - rubber grommet
2 - Screws
3 - Mounting flange
4 - gas-filled focus

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the interior trim (see. Section Removal and installation of an internal upholstery of door assemblies).
Remove the rubber grommet (4).
Remove the screws (2) securing the mounting flange (3).
Remove the nozzle from the ball head attachment stops.
Remove the stopper (4) assembly to the mounting flange (3), gently releasing it through a window in the side of the door frame.
Separate the caliper assembly mounting flange (3).
Installation is in the reverse order - move the focus so that there was alignment of fixing holes.
