Check and replacement of the gauge-switch of fires of a backing



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. Find the gauge-switch lights on reverse Manual transmission housing.

2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.

3. Select reverse gear shift lever - between terminals 2 and 4 (in 1998) / 1 and 3 (1999) sensor connector should be a conductivity. Move the box to the neutral position and repeat the test. At this time the conductivity should take place between the terminals 1 and 3/2 and 4 respectively. Make sure of absence of conductivity between specified terminals in all other positions of the box.

4. Faulty sensor switch must be replaced.

REPLACEMENT

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Drain the gear oil (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
3. Remove the clamp bolt and remove the gauge-switch with the gearbox.
4. Lightly oil a clean new O-ring, put the sensor on the regular place and tighten the clamp bolt.
5. Connect the wiring.
6. Check the operation of the new sensor.
7. Fill in the required number of housing Manual transmission gear oil demanded grade (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
8. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
