Alternator drive belt
Withdrawal
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Working under the front of the car, loosen the screws and remove the plastic shield under the wing, to get access to the crankshaft pulley. To expand the working space can be additionally removed mudguard of the engine by removing the screws. | 2. Turn the crankshaft face head dressed on a pulley bolt so as to be able to inspect the belt (or belt) throughout its length. Check for cracks on the belt, traces of burning or mechanical damage. Also check on the belt of glossy sections and bundles. If there is damage or signs of wear, replace the belt. | 3. Disconnect the battery from weight. For vehicles with air conditioning, remove the air conditioning compressor belt (see. Subsection 2.3.1.1). For vehicles with power steering, remove the power steering pump drive belt (see. Subsection 2.3.1.2). | | | 4. Release the top and bottom nuts (or bolts) fixing the generator. | | 5. Turn the adjusting bolt, loosen the belt, remove the belt from the pulleys. |

Setting PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. If you are installing a new belt, then please make sure that it corresponds exactly to the type of the type to be replaced. | 2. Put the belt on the pulleys. | 3. Turn the adjusting bolt, tighten the belt. | 4. Install and adjust the drive belt air conditioning compressor and power steering. |

Tension adjustment PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Working under the front of the car, loosen the screws and remove the plastic shield under the wing, to get access to the crankshaft pulley. Turn the crankshaft face head dressed on a pulley bolt so as to be able to inspect the belt (or belt) throughout its length. Check for cracks on the belt, traces of burning or mechanical damage. Also check on the belt of glossy sections and bundles. If there is damage or signs of wear, replace the belt. | 3. Avoid excessive belt tension, otherwise enhanced bearing wear generator. | 4. The belt tension is checked against the value halfway between the two deflection pulleys in the upper part of the loop belt transmission. Under the action of a predetermined force belt deflection should be within the normal range (see. Subsection 2.1). | 5. When adjusting the tension of the upper nut (or bolt) of the generator should be slightly tightened and the lower nut (or bolt) is released. Turn the adjusting screw to adjust the tension. After adjustment, rotate the crankshaft through two revolutions and recheck belt tension. Tighten all nuts (and bolts) fixing the generator. | 6. Install guards removed, the wheel and lower the car. |
