Checking oil pressure and oil pressure sensor

Basic operations for checking oil pressure and oil pressure sensor are given in section 2.1.10. This section describes only the differences relating to diesel engines.

To check the oil pressure sensor, start the engine and slowly increase engine speed.

On the diesel TDI engine oil at a pressure of 0.75-1.05 bar LED should go out.

On the diesel engine SDI at a pressure of 0,55-0,85 bar LED should go out.
