| 1. Disconnect from the fuel distributor feeder (2) and return (1) fuel hoses. |
2. Using an optional hose, connect the feed pipe fuel line to the measuring vessel. |
3. Connect a voltmeter to the battery poles. |
4. Turn on the remote control for 15 seconds, and at the same time, measure the voltage on the battery. |
5. Measure the amount of fuel in the measuring vessel on the chart and determine the performance of the fuel pump (see. Fig. Diagram for determining the performance of the fuel pump). |
6. Also measure the performance of the fuel pump when working under pressure. To do this, connect the supply hose to the pressure gauge with shut-off valve and the fuel pump running set the pressure shut-off valve 3 bar. Measure the performance of the fuel pump and compare it with the chart (see. Fig. Chart performance fuel pump at the fuel pressure of 3 bar). |
7. If the performance of the fuel pump is not sufficient to re-check the performance of the new fuel filter. |
8. If the performance of the fuel filter is still insufficient, clean the fuel system and the strainer. |
9. If the fuel system clean and in order, check the condition of the fuel pump. |
10. Remove the system of remote testing and replace the fuse. |
