Employment engine management system

The engine management system - a unified system of ignition and fuel injection.

Fuel pump submerged in the fuel tank supplies fuel to the fuel line through the fuel filter. The fuel pressure in the system is controlled by a pressure regulator. The controller allows the excess fuel back to the fuel tank when the pressure in the fuel system. The fuel tank is the backbone for the four fuel injectors that produce the fuel injection into the intake ports of the engine cylinders. It uses sequential fuel injection system in which the injectors inject fuel independently from each other. The control unit controls the fuel injector by changing the pulse width, i.e. the length of time when the injector is opened to provide a richer or poorer fuel mixture.

The air passes through the air filter, the air flow meter and the throttle valve to the inlet channels of the cylinders. Air Flow Sensor is a ribbon conductor (1) voltage. Constant temperature is maintained tape electric current, which varies depending on the mass of air flowing. The current which must be supplied to maintain a constant temperature of the strip is proportional to the mass flow of air. Based on information from the air flow meter and the other sensor unit controls the measured amount of air, respectively, and the number of revolutions of the engine and while the fuel injection amount. The longer the nozzle opening, the more fuel is injected.

Additional sensors transmit information to the control unit of the engine coolant temperature, temperature of air entering the engine, and models with the catalyst - the contents of oxygen in the exhaust gases.

Activated carbon filter prevents fumes penetrating fuel from the fuel tank into the atmosphere. Fuel vapors accumulated in the activated carbon and afterburned with the engine in the engine cylinders.

The memory unit in the control unit detects a fault that appears and writes it. Failure of important sensor control unit switches to the emergency program to ensure that the engine continues to run, although with less efficiency.
