Towing

Towing should be performed under the following conditions.

For the towing vehicle must first remove the grille on the bottom right of the front bumper and screw the towing eye. The towing eye is located with the on-board instruments.

Push fingers with a force in the direction of arrow 1 to the upper edge of the grate and simultaneously pull in the direction of arrow 2.

Eyelet has left-hand thread.

Use proper tow rope.

Turn the ignition key to the "on" position to the steering column lock has been released and that the direction indicators and brake lights work.

Before towing, release the hand brake and set the gear lever to the neutral position.

Note that a greater force is required to press the brake pedal as the brake servo only works when the engine is running.

On models with power steering will require more effort to turn the steering wheel.

On models with automatic transmission, observe special precautions, because otherwise the gearbox can be easily damaged.
