Tyres and pressure check in tires

Tires are the only car parts that are constantly in contact with the road, and even the total contact surface of the tire is small. It is therefore necessary to regularly check the tires carefully, as both own safety and that of other participants in traffic to a large extent depends on the condition of the tires.

Real-time condition of tires will allow early detection of intensive wear and eliminate its cause, in order to avoid more serious consequences.

In the presence of uneven tire wear is necessary to discover the cause of this and rectify it.

Check the tires for cuts, punctures, and foreign objects in the tires. Designated air leakage from the tire can be determined with the help of soap suds.

Inspect the inner side of each tire for signs of brake fluid.

The required tire pressure prolongs their life, so it should be checked regularly. Tyre pressure monitoring are made only on cold tires.

Checking the wear of tire treads

Tires wheels must be immediately replaced when located below the bottom of the tread special pointers (B) as a result of wear equal the tread surface of the tire. The position is indicated by a triangular indicator mark on the sidewall of the tire (A).

Measure the tire tread depth

Tire tread depth can be controlled by a special device. When the wear limit is necessary to replace the tire.

Checking tire pressure

Checking tire pressure is only on cold tires. Optimal tire pressure increases tire life and vehicle operating parameters.

TYPES treadwear

Side tread wear

Low tire pressure (wear on both sides). Low tire pressure results in a permanent deformation of the tire and tire improper contact with the road surface. This much wear and reduced tire cord grip tires and the road surface. Also, due to overheating of the tire can happen her break.

Incorrect camber (wear on one side). It is necessary to repair the suspension.

Overcoming turns at high speed. It is necessary to reduce speed on bends.

Tread wear at the center

High pressure in the tire. When tire pressure is significantly higher than normal intensive wear occurs at the center of the tire tread, tire grip decreases with the road surface, the tire does not extinguish bumps, whereby all impacts are transmitted to the body and increases the probability of rupture of the tire.

Check and top up the tire pressure.

In some cases it is necessary to increase the pressure in the tire, particularly while driving at high speeds or heavy loads, while not forget to bring to normal pressure in normal operation of the vehicle.

Uneven wear

The tires on the front wheels can wear unevenly due to a misalignment of the wheels. It is necessary to adjust the angles of the wheels.

Side tread wear. Balance the wheel.
