Replacing brake fluid
Through pores brake hoses and vent brake fluid adsorbs moisture from the air, resulting in a reduced boiling point of brake fluid. With intensive use of brakes there is the likelihood of vapor lock in the brake system, which significantly degrade the performance of the brakes. Replace the brake fluid should be carried out every two years. Replacement of the brake fluid performed as follows: cnimite cover from a tank and, using a syringe, pump out the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir, while the brake fluid remaining in the tank must be 10 mm;
A WARNING To prevent air from entering the brake system does not pump out the brake fluid completely. |
add in a tank a new brake fluid up to the mark "MAX"; remove the dust cap from the valve pumping wheel cylinder rear right wheel, clean it and put on it the pure transparent hose which other end lower in the capacity partially filled with brake fluid. The tank should be at least 300 mm above the leveling valve. This prevents air from entering the cylinder through the thread of the valve; unscrew several turns the bleeder valve 10 and the brake pedal all the way;
A WARNING Press the pedal until the tube of the net begins to flow brake fluid. |
tighten the valve pumping into the tank and add fresh brake fluid; similarly replace the brake fluid in the piping and brake mechanisms of other wheels. On vehicles with hydraulic clutch master cylinder reservoir at the same time serves as a clutch and a tank, so when replacing the brake fluid is also recommended to replace the fluid in the clutch.
