Crankshaft



NOTE
Before removing the crankshaft provide a proper place to store it, to avoid damaging the gear sensor.
For assembly work the engine must be secured to the retainer for the engine and gearbox.

Removing and installing gear sensor

NOTE
Replace gear sensor 2 after each loosening the bolts 1.

After the second point tightening screwing countersunk screws in gear sensor is deformed so much that screw heads lie on the crankshaft 3 and stop to press the gear sensor (Fig. 2.152).
Installation encoder wheel is only possible in one position, the holes are shifted.

The plant installed in the cylinder block upper bearing of the correct thickness. To indicate the thickness of the bearing shells are colored mark (Fig. 2.153).
Bearings what thickness should be used in a certain place, which is listed on the bottom of the mounting surface of the cylinder lettered label:
G - yellow;
B - Blue;
W - white.

NOTE
If the color mark is not read, use the blue bearing.
The lower main bearing shells as the parts are supplied principally from the "yellow" color-coded.
