Removing and installing cylinder head cover



NOTE
When installing an exchange cylinder head before installing the head cover must be Lubricate all the contact surfaces between the support elements, roller lever and cam-beds.
Included in repair kit plastic lining to protect the open valves only be removed immediately before installing the cylinder head.

Replace the cylinder head bolts.
When replacing the cylinder head and drain the old and fill with new coolant.

Dismantling
Remove, if present, the engine cover.
Disconnect hoses and connector from the vacuum receiver and remove it.

Remove the ignition coil to the final stage 2 (Fig. 2.160).
Disconnect hoses 1 crankcase ventilation of the cylinder head cover.
Remove the bolts.

Remove the cylinder head cover bolts starting from the edges toward the center (Fig. 2.161).
Remove the cylinder head cover.

Installation
Installation is performed in reverse order, while pay attention to the following.
Replace cylinder head cover gasket is damaged.

Tighten the cylinder head in the sequence (Fig. 2.162).

Tightening torques
The cylinder head cover to cylinder head 10 Nm;
Toothed belt guard to cylinder head 10 Nm (set in the sealant).
