Removal and installation of the flange on the side of the crankshaft flywheel



NOTE
The device for pressing need is for sealing flange without bearing bush.

Removing flange
Remove the gearbox.
Remove the flywheel and / or clutch disc.
Remove the oil pan.

Remove the sealing flange (Fig. 2.144).

Installation flange
Remove the remaining oil on the crank pin of the crankshaft with a clean cloth.

NOTE
Working seal lip no additional grease.
Clean seating surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.

The sealing flange bearing bush
To install, use the support sleeve provided in the kit. The support sleeve can be removed only after the installation of the flange to the crank pin of the crankshaft. The flange is placed on the dowel pins.

The sealing flange without bearing bush
Connect the plug.

Put the sealing flange and the outer side on the mandrel (Fig. 2.145).
Disconnect the plug.

Put the sealing flange A with the mandrel to the crankshaft sealing flange and slide on a pin of the crankshaft (Fig. 2.146).
Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 15 Nm.
Install the oil pan.
Further assemblage is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
