Removing the cylinder head when the engine installed

Before starting work, you should consider the following recommendations:
- It is impossible to dismantle the cylinder head when the temperature exceeds 40 ? C;
- When installing the cylinder head must be carefully lubricated contact surfaces between the underside of the pushers and cams on the camshaft;
- Replacing the cylinder head assembly should be understood that the valves are closed with plastic caps to be removed immediately prior to installation of the head;
- If you need to replace the cylinder head gasket should be replaced with coolant;
- In some engines (for example, ADX, or AEA) used a metal seal cylinder head. Other seals can not be installed;
- When installing the cylinder head cover should be used sealant D2. They lubricate the transition between the head cover and the plane of the cylinder head;
- Replace O-ring under the oil filler plug, if it is damaged.
Removing the cylinder head must be carried out as follows:
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery;
clit coolant from the cooling system (Sect. 4.1.1);
- Disconnect the top hose of the cooling system;
- Disconnect the electrical wires from the terminals of all the details on the cylinder head;
- Disconnect the fuel lines, cables of the throttle and brake booster hose, injection system parts and all the vacuum hoses between the cylinder head and the body;
- Remove the protective cover of a gear belt (fig. 30);

Details removed when dismantling the cylinder head: 1 - the top casing of a gear belt; 2 - a gear belt; 3 - bolt 80 Nm; 4 - camshaft sprocket; 5 - bolts 10 Nm; 6 - internal protective casing of a gear belt; 7 - bolt 10 Nm; 8 - sealing washer; 9 - the oil filler plug; 10 - the cylinder head cover; 11 - a lining of the cylinder head cover; 12 - a bolt of fastening of the cylinder head; 13 - cylinder head; 14 - cylinder head gasket; 15 - a tension roller; 16 - nut 20 Nm; 17 - the crankshaft pulley; 18 - bolt 20 Nm; 19 - ribbed belt; 20 - the bottom casing of a gear belt

- Remove the timing belt as described in Section. 2.7.1;
- To fix the camshaft sprocket from turning in any convenient way (insert mandrel into one of the holes and to base it on the cylinder head) and unscrew the bolt distribution gear. It is a label that is used to adjust the timing. When installing the label should be combined with the marks on the ramp;
- Remove the lid of the box toothed pulley;
- Disconnect the cylinder head cover and carefully remove its seal. With careful handling it is quite possible to be reused. In this case, the seal can impose little sealant. However, it would be better if you replace it. Sealing gaskets become complete;
- Using hex ("12 mm") alternately loosen the cylinder head bolts in accordance with that shown in Fig. 26 sequence, remove the screws and remove the cylinder head. Remove the gasket.
