Adjusting the belts of automatic transmission (AT) (models from 1994 g.vyp.) (Every 48 000 km (30,000 miles) or every two years)



Adjusting tapes antibodies should be performed regularly in accordance with the schedule of routine maintenance of the car, preferably simultaneously with the replacement of the transmission fluid and filter (Section Replacement of fluid and filter automatic transmission (every 48 000 km (30,000 miles) or every two years)).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props.
  2. Approximately five revolutions, loosen the lock nut of the adjusting screws, then loosen a few turns of the screw itself. Make sure that the screw rotates freely, without biting; soak it in a penetrating oil if necessary.
  3. Tighten adjusting screw to the required torque (see. Specifications in the beginning of this chapter), and then give it back to the stipulated in the Specifications RPM. Hold the screw from turning, tighten the lock nut with demanded effort.

Rear Feed (step-down reverse gear)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To provide access to the back of the belt, you must remove the transmission oil pan (Section Replacement of a liquid of an automatic transmission and the filter (every 48 000 km (30,000 miles) or every two years)).
  2. Loosen the lock nut of the adjusting screw and hand screw four turns. Make sure that the screw rotates freely in the arm.

  1. Tighten adjusting screw to the torque given in the Specifications to this Chapter, then give it to the stipulated in the Specifications as the number of revolutions. Hold the screw from turning, tighten the lock nut with demanded effort.
  2. Replace the transmission oil pan.
