Check and replace wiper blades (every 4800 km (3000 miles) or once every 3 months)



Build wipers with brushes should be checked regularly for damage, loosening of components, as well as cracks and wear of working elements of brushes.

Road film accumulating on the elements substantially reduces the effectiveness of cleaning the glass, so the brushes should be regularly washed in a cleaning solution.

In operation, the wiper drive mechanism may occur spontaneously giving of nuts, bolts and other fasteners, whose state in view of the above should also be regularly checked and, if necessary, - tightening, while checking the state of the brushes.

If the working elements of brushes (sometimes called insertions) is noticeably worn, warped or cracked, replace them with new ones.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pull the wiper arm assembly with the brushes of glass.
  1. On the tailgate glass cleaner models of early years of release, lift the locking lever and remove the brush assembly with the pin on the wiper arm. Replacement is made all the brush assembly.
  1. On the windscreen wiper and tailgate glass cleaner models of late years of release press the tab at the end of the lock and remove the brush assembly with the wiper arm, pulling it down and removing the hook at the end of the latter.
  1. Separate the end of the working element of the frame assembly of the brush and using needle nose pliers to remove the two arch support. Then remove it from the assembly of the operating element.
  1. Compare the length and construction of new elements of the old.
  2. Insert a new element into the brush, and then enter the insoles.
  3. Set the brush assembly on the levers, moisten the glass and check that the wiper operation.
