Check speedometer

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Adjust tire pressure.

2. Place the vehicle on the stand to check the speedometer and place wedges under the rear wheels.

3. Check if the speedometer within the tolerance given in the technical data.

When checking the speedometer suddenly do not press the clutch pedal rapidly and do not increase / decrease speed.

Tire wear and improper tire pressure leads to an increase in the error rate measurement.

Vibration speedometer may be caused by not lubricated the speedometer cable.

Tachometer

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect the test and start the engine tachometer.
2. Compare the speedometer of the car with the test tachometer readings. If the difference between the readings exceed the allowable value, replace tachometer.

Reversing the tachometer will damage semiconductor devices inside the tachometer.

When removing and installing the tachometer be careful not to drop or hit it.

The fuel gauge

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn on the ignition.

2. Connect the variable resistor to terminals A6 and A8.

3. Change the variable resistance.
4. Check that the indicator shows the fuel level in accordance with a change in resistance. Otherwise, replace the pointer fuel level.
