Check rotor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. An ohmmeter check up conductivity between brushes of the collector and the rotor. In the presence of conductivity, replace a rotor.
2. An ohmmeter check up conductivity between brushes and collector rotor shaft. In the presence of conductivity, replace a rotor.
3. Install the rotor on the V-shaped blocks and a dial indicator, check the run-out of the collector. If the runout exceeds the limit, pierce a collector or replace the rotor.

Rated runout: 0.05 mm
Maximum allowable runout: 0.4 mm
4. Measure the diameter of the collector. If the diameter is less than the desired value, replace the rotor.

The diameter of the collector: 31 mm
5. If the collector surface is dirty, clean it. If necessary, pierce or treat collector sandpaper.
6. If the depth of the grooves between the contact plate collector is less than the maximum permissible value, replace the rotor.

The nominal depth; 0.5-0.8 mm
Maximum allowable depth: 0.2 mm

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish earlier removed washers on the rotor shaft.
2. Place the rotor in the stator housing.
3. Replace the brush holder in the rear cover and secure it with screws.

Torque: 2,4-4,4 N ??? m
4. Install overrunning clutch and lock the locking ring on the rotor shaft.
5. Install the retaining ring in the groove of the rotor shaft.
6. Install the retainer locking ring on the retaining ring.
7. Set the lever.
8. If there is a planetary gear set.
9. Install the front cover.
10. From the back cover set, and return the pin.

Torque: 3,8-7,1 N ??? m
11. Insert the plug in the arm.
12. Insert the spring traction relay.
13. Replace the traction relay and secure with screws.

Torque: 4,1-7,6 N ??? m
14. Apply battery voltage to terminal S and body of the traction relay and check that the plunger is pushed out and stops.
15. Measure the gap between the retainer lock ring and the flange of the front cover.

Gap: 0.5-2.0 mm

A warning

Do not apply battery voltage to the traction relay for more than 10 seconds.

16. If the clearance is not correct, adjust it increasing or decreasing the number of spacers between the traction relay and the front cover.
17. Connect the stator coil to the terminal M of the traction relay.
