Check the rear window defogger

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start up the engine and turn on the rear window heater.
2. Connect the negative lead of the voltmeter to the "weight" of the car.
	3. In turn, connect a voltmeter probe to the center of each conductive strip rear window defogger. The voltmeter should show pressure about 6 V.
4. If the voltmeter shows the voltage above 6 V, then current-carrying strip of a heater is broken by connecting a voltmeter between the point and the side of the heater connected to the "masses."
	5. If the voltmeter shows the voltage is lower than 6, then the current-carrying strip of a heater is broken by connecting a voltmeter between the point and the side of the heater connected to the positive terminal of the battery.
