The front passenger airbag




A warning

Do not perform maintenance airbags or electrical components connected with the airbag.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the two screws at the corners of the base of the glove box and remove the glove box.
2. Remove the side cover and disconnect the electrical connector attached to the T-shaped bracket.
3. Remove the two front and two rear bolts.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air bag wiring harness.

A warning

Airbag connected terminals orange and blue. Section socket "mum" consists of two separate parts, one for the airbags and one for audio. These parts are connected mechanically to connect to the blue section of the airbag connector and fixed two latches excluding their spontaneous disconnection. Section airbag connector also has fasteners that connect the two parts of the connector, after their separation. This feature eliminates the inadvertent deployment of the airbag. By separating the two sections of the connector, first and foremost necessary to disconnect the connector section orange. Connections must be performed in sequence, return to disengagement.


5. Remove the air bag from the instrument panel.


Setting

A warning

Be careful when installing the airbag not to pinch the wiring between the components of the instrument panel. Hinges and clamping the harness may cause disruption of the electric power supply circuit airbags.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the air bag to the vehicle harness.
2. Set the front passenger airbag.
3. Fix the airbag with four bolts, having tightened their demanded moment.

Torque: 8-12 N ??? m
4. Install the storage compartment and secure it with two screws.
5. Check the DTC airbag.
