1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
2. Remove the three mounting bolts of the fuse box and remove the fuse box with the hydraulic control unit (HCU). |
3. Remove the connector cover from the unit. Pull the release latch and disconnect the connector from the hydraulic control unit. |
| 4. nakidnym wrench disconnect the six brake lines. Collect leaking brake fluid. Temporarily close the ends of the tubes with plastic plugs to eliminate the ingress of contaminants. |
5. nakidnym wrench, remove the three mounting bolts of the hydraulic control unit and remove the bracket. |
6. Temporarily close the holes in the plastic plugs to eliminate the ingress of contaminants. |
7. Keep the hydraulic control unit in a protective container. |
