Replacing brake pads on the rear disk brakes



Brake pads rear disc brakes

1 - the parking brake cable and clamp fixing the cable;
2 - connecting bolt;
3 - the brake pipe;
4 - a directing bolt;
5 - a support;
6 - V-shaped spring;

7 - the brake pads;
8 - a lining;
9 - guide plate;
10 - a bolt;
11 - the holder of a support;
12 - piston calipers

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the clip and disconnect the parking brake cable.
2. Remove the connecting bolt of the brake pipe to the caliper.
3. Clamp the rear brake hose.
4. Remove the two screws on the guide carriage.
5. Remove the caliper from the brake disc.
6. Remove the two V-shaped spring mount brake pads.
7. Remove the brake pads, gaskets and guide plates.
8. Remove the two mounting bolts of the caliper.
9. Remove the caliper bracket.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the thickness of the brake pads.

The thickness of the brake pads:
Rating: 10.0 mm
The minimum allowable: 2.0 mm
2. The indicator of hour type measure palpation of a brake disk.

Maximum runout: 0.08 mm
3. Measure the thickness of the brake disc.

Brake Disc Thickness:
Par: 10 mm
The minimum allowable: 8 mm

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the caliper bracket and secure it with two screws.

Torque: 45-67 N ??? m
2. Adjust the guide plates.
3. Install the brake pads and linings, and fasten them with two V-shaped springs.
4. Special adaptation OK9A4 263 001 press the piston in the caliper, in order to be able to establish a support for new brake pads.
5. Tighten the two screws on the guide carriage.

Torque: 29-39 N ??? m
6. Connect to a support a brake tube and secure it with the connecting bolt.

Torque: 22-29 N ??? m
7. Install the parking brake cable and secure it with a clamp.
8. Remove air from the hydraulic circuit brake system.
9. Check for leaks of brake fluid.
