Repair of the working brake cylinder

Brake Cylinder

1 - dustproof covers (replace);
2 - pistons;
3 - O-ring piston (replace);
4 - spring and spring plate;

5 - Dust Cap;
6 - bleeder valve;
7 - steel ball;
8 - the case of the working brake cylinder

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check that all parts are clean and traces of isopropyl alcohol was removed.

2. Lubricate all internal parts with clean brake fluid.

3. Install the internal parts.

4. Install the steel ball, screw the bleeder valve and install the dust cap.

5. Install the dust covers on both sides of the working brake cylinder.

6. Set the working brake cylinder on the brake shield and fix two bolts.

7. Clean the inner diameter of the cylinder and the holes for supplying fluid and remove air isopropyl alcohol. Check the mating surfaces for corrosion and local produce.

A warning

If there are any defects, replace the working brake cylinder assembly.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the brake pads.

2. nakidnym wrench, disconnect the brake line, thus collect the leaked brake fluid.

3. Remove the two screws and remove the working brake cylinder.

4. Remove the dust covers on both sides of the working brake cylinder.

5. Pushing through the housing of the brake cylinder and remove all internal parts.

6. Remove the dust cap, loosen the bleeder valve and remove the steel ball.

Torque: 10-13 N ??? m

7. Connect the brake pipe and secure it with the connecting bolt.

Torque: 12-22 N ??? m

8. Install the brake pads.

9. Remove air from the hydraulic circuit brake system.

10. Check for leaks of brake fluid.
