Check and replacement of the gauge-switch of disconnection of a chain of a starter (CPP) on models with Manual transmission

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The gauge-switch open circuit the starter assembly is placed under the clutch pedal.

Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.

Connect the pin probe ohm meter - conductivity should take place only when the clutch pedal is depressed.

Faulty sensor switch must be replaced.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect from the gauge-switch wiring.
Remove the two mounting bolts and remove the gauge-switch.
Install the replacement sensor switch on the regular place under the clutch pedal assembly, screw and tighten the two mounting screws, and then connect the wiring.
