Check and adjust the clutch pedal



The height of the pedal

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Bend the panel carpeting in the driving footswitch pit and measure the height of the pad of the pedal assembly to the floor of the cabin. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications of the Head of Transmission line, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment.
A - Thrust bolt
B - Locknut
C - Locknut
D - Pusher

Adjustment

Adjusting the height of the clutch pedal position is made using the stop bolt (A), - pre-release nut (B). Tightening torque lock nut is 14 ÷ 18 Nm.

Free travel

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Gently pressing the pedal by hand, measure the value of its free-wheeling. If the result is outside the permitted range (8 ÷ 18 mm), make the appropriate adjustments.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Loosen the lock nut (C) and make an appropriate adjustment by rotating the push rod (D) of the piston clutch master cylinder.
  2. Check the height of the pedal is released, if necessary, make appropriate adjustment.
  3. Do not forget to tighten the lock nut to the conclusion (C).

The height of the clutch must be 184 mm.
