Removal, service and installation of the master cylinder clutch



Hit the brake fluid on the painted surface of the body is associated with the risk of damage to paintwork - accidental splashes should be removed immediately with a dry cloth or a clean paper towel!

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pump the hydraulic fluid from the reservoir GTZ (Alternatively, the reservoir may be sealed by placing a cover plastic film). Use the special Allen wrench with slotted head, disconnect the phone from the master cylinder hydraulic path of a drive clutch.
  1. Release the lock nuts (one of the engine compartment, the second of the interior) and remove the master cylinder to the engine compartment bulkhead.

Service

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If necessary, press down the plunger, remove the retaining ring

and disassemble the cylinder components, acting in numerical order,

1 - retainer (snap ring)
2 - Thrust Washer Piston
3 - The assembly of the piston with the secondary cup
4 - Primary cup
5 - Return spring
6 - hose to the tank
7 - landing sleeve
8 - the master cylinder body
- To extract the internal component is fed into a cylinder of compressed air.

When removing the lock ring to avoid damaging contact with the surface of the plunger piston.

  1. Lay the removed components on a clean surface and wash them with brake fluid.
  2. Estimate degree of deterioration of the piston, the primary and secondary plates and cylinder bore, check for a weak return spring. Defective components replace.
  3. Installation is in the reverse order, the edges of the piston and the cups before filling the cylinder should be lubricated with clean brake fluid.
  4. Assembled cylinder filled with fresh brake fluid, then empty it by pushing the piston with a screwdriver, - the liquid should be drained through the outlet.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is the reverse order of disassembly of components - be sure to replace the gasket, make sure of compliance with the requirements of Specifications of the Head Transmission Line to the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.

To tighten the screws, use the choke ring spanner with a split head.
