Removal, service and installation of the lower suspension arms
Withdrawal All models Model 4 x 4 | | - Remove the bolts (2) securing the lower ball joint to the arm assembly (1).

- Remove the knuckle assembly from the drive shaft (see chap. The transmission line).
| - Remove the cotter pin, release the castellated nut and with a special puller release the ball joint (1) from the steering knuckle.
|

|
Model 4 x 2 | - Remove the cotter pin, release the castellated nut and with the help of a stripper release the ball joint from the knuckle assembly, - if necessary, ball bearing can be removed from the lever assembly after removing the latter from the vehicle.
| - Ball joint is fixed to the knuckle by a castellated nut (1) (4 x 2 model).

| - Pressing off the lower ball joint from the knuckle (4 x 2 model).
|

|
All models | | - Release the spindle nuts of bolts (2), remove the latter and remove the lever assembly (1) from the vehicle.
|
|
|
Service | - Inspect for deformation, cracks and other mechanical damage to the lower suspension arm and the axial finger attachment to him supporting fork rack assembly. Assess the rubber bushings and anther spindle ball bearings and axial spherical tip of the head of the bolt. Defective components replace.
| - Pressing off the spindle and the pressing of the rubber bushings made by means of a special device - before installing the new plug wet a soap solution.

- Ball Bearing if necessary replaced in the assembly, as well as an axial finger supporting sleeve mounting rack assembly.

Setting | - Installation is in the reverse order - Ensure compliance with the Specifications Chapter Suspension and steering the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
