Removal, service and installation of the upper suspension arms
Withdrawal | - Post the car off the ground.
- Remove the front wheels.
| - Pre marking the installation position of the plate washers on frame brackets, remove the spindle bolts (1) securing the upper arm (2).

- Remove the upper arm.
|
|
Service | - Inspect the arm for deformation, cracks and other mechanical damage, assess the state of the rubber bushing and spindle ball bearing anther. Defective components replace.
| - Pressing off the spindle and the pressing of the rubber bushings made by means of a special device - before installing the new plug wet a soap solution.
|
| - Damaged boot ball joint can be cut down a chisel.
|
| - Liberally grease the inner surface of the boot removable grease, then use a special device to gently press in his arm receptacle.
|

|
Setting | - Get a lever on the regular place and secure the spindle bolts.
- Fill finger ball joint to the knuckle receptacle, and then fill with demanded effort (43 ÷ 54 Nm) to tighten the clamping bolt - bolt must get into the specially provided grooves in the ball stud.
- Properly deploying spindle screws, - track registration deposited in the process of dismantling the landing labels - and tighten with demanded effort (75 ÷ 93 Nm) of nuts.
- Finally, drive away the car in car-care center workshop to check and adjust the alignment of the front wheels (see. Section Check and adjustment of corners of installation of forward wheels).
