The switch should be checked if the hot radiator fan is not included. Conditions: Check the scheme electrical wiring, relays and the fan motor. Thermostat and pressure reducing valve in the radiator cap intact. If these elements are faulty, the thermal switch will not turn on the fan, as it is not heated by the cooling fluid.
  1. Disconnect the plug from the temperature switch.
  2. Unscrew temperature switch.

From the openings on the inlet nipple will leak coolant. Place a container to collect the liquid.

  2. Use an ohmmeter to control the current flow through the switch. At + 91 ? C the current must flow.
  3. Leave to cool, and water controlled to a temperature of water at + 84 ? C, the current flow has stopped.
  1. If the values do not match the required, the switch should be replaced.
  1. Secure the switch with a new gasket with a force of 10 Nm.
