Engine starting



Cars not equipped with electric fuel injection system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fasten your seat belt.
  2. Check to see whether the handbrake.
  3. Manual gearbox - fully depress the clutch and place the shift lever in neutral. When you start hold the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
  4. Automatic Transmission - check the box lever to position "P" (Park) or ?�N?� (neutral).

Do not keep the starter switched on for longer than 10 seconds. If the engine does not start immediately, wait 5 - 10 seconds, and repeat the process of running, otherwise the starter could be damaged.

Vehicles without a manual choke actuator

Cold engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Once fully depress the accelerator pedal and release.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�. Let him go after a maximum of 10 seconds.
  3. Depress the accelerator pedal about half, if the engine starts. Release the pedal to reduce speed.
  4. Allow the engine to warm up for about 10 seconds before turning on the transmission.
  5. In the cold (below -18 ?� C), or if the vehicle is not used for several days
  6. Depress the accelerator two or three times and then release it.
  7. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�. Release the key when the engine starts.
  8. If the engine does not start, release ignition key. Depress the accelerator five to ten times before the next start attempt.
  9. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�, to start the engine.
  10. When the engine starts, let it warm up without pressing the gas pedal.
  11. If the engine after 30 seconds will work evenly, reduce the number of turns of light by pressing and releasing the gas pedal.

If the engine for a long time (5 minutes) is idling with the increased speed, the car can be damaged due to the very high temperature of exhaust gas cleaning.

Warm engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Depress the accelerator pedal halfway down and hold in this position, without pumping.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�, to start the engine.
  3. Release the ignition key and the accelerator pedal when the engine starts.

Candle filled with fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the hot engine will not start, it may be that candle filled with fuel. Therefore, wait at least thirty seconds before the next start attempt.
  2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold it in this position is not pumping.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�, to start the engine.
  4. Release the ignition key and the accelerator pedal when the engine starts.

For vehicles with manual transmission air flap

Choke

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pull drive the choke only for starting or warming up the engine.
  2. Pull out the choke button.
  1. When the engine reaches its operating temperature, fully push the button.

On the cold engine

  1. Do not squeeze the gas pedal.
  1. Pull out the choke button.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (II)?�.
  3. Release the ignition key when the engine starts. If the engine stalls again start it.
  4. After engine start push button so that the engine worked steadily.
  5. When the engine reaches its operating temperature, fully push the choke button.

On a warm engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Depress the accelerator pedal about half. Do not Suck the gas pedal and do not pull the choke button.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�.
  2. When the engine starts release the ignition key and slowly release the gas pedal.

Candle filled with fuel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the engine is warm candles filled with fuel and it does not start, wait 1 minute or longer before you start to try again.
  1. Slowly depress the accelerator pedal fully. Do not Suck and do not pull the choke button.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�, to start the engine.
  3. When the engine starts release the ignition key and slowly release the gas pedal.

If the engine does not start due to excess fuel, remove the candles and dry them.

Do not allow cigarettes, sparks or open flames near the engine when replacing candles.

Cars equipped with electric fuel injection system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fasten your seat belt (if available).
  2. Check to see whether the handbrake.
  3. Do not squeeze the gas pedal.
  4. Fully depress the clutch pedal and set the gear lever to the neutral position
  5. Start the engine with the clutch depressed.
  6. Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?�.
  7. Release the ignition key when the engine starts. If the engine stalls again start it.

On a warm or cold engine first try to run it without squeezing the gas pedal. If a warm engine does not start, depress the accelerator pedal halfway down and start again.

Only for engines with turbocharger

Immediately after the trip with high speed or after a long ascent engine should work with number of turns of idling for at least 30 seconds before it is stopped.

Diesel engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fasten your seat belt (if available).
  2. Check to see whether the handbrake.
  3. Fully depress the clutch pedal and set the gear lever to the neutral position. During startup, hold the clutch pedal is fully depressed.

Do not keep the starter switched on for longer than 30 seconds. If the engine does not start immediately, wait 5 - 10 seconds, and repeat the process of running, otherwise the starter could be damaged.

On the cold engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn the ignition key to ?�ON (II)?�.
  1. Then turn the ignition key to ?�START (III)?� and start the engine without squeezing gas pedal. On the cold engine the gas pedal when starting the engine to be fully depressed.
  • At low ambient temperatures completely pull cold start button, turn right and turn the ignition key to ?�ON (II)?�.
  • Turn the ignition switch to ?�START (III)?� and hold until the engine starts. Depress the accelerator pedal to slightly increase the number of turns, and release it when the engine is running steadily.
  • Rotate the cold start to the left and slide it completely when the engine reaches its normal operating temperature.
  • During the engine warm-cold start button should be pulled out.
  • To facilitate the start-up, turn off all electrical appliances.
  • If the engine does not start, return the ignition key to ?�LOCK (0)?� or ?�ACC (I)?�, before a new attempt to start.

On a warm engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn the ignition key to ?�ON (II)?�.
  2. Then turn the ignition key to ?�START (III)?� and start the engine without squeezing gas pedal.
