Measuring devices

To measure the electrical parameters in the side chain in the sale are the so-called combined measuring devices that combine in a single device to measure the voltage voltmeter, an ammeter to measure current and ohm meter to measure the resistance.

Commercially available gauges differ primarily range and accuracy of measurements. Measuring range is set in what area should be recorded voltage and resistance.

For motorists are combined measuring devices that are specifically designed for carrying out examinations in the car. With this device you can measure the frequency of rotation of the shaft in the car, the angle of the closed state of the contact breaker ignition system and a voltage of 20 V.

When measuring the resistance of the device is usually limited to the range in kiloomah, in addition to the measuring instruments used to test electrical and electronic design elements. They allow a wide measurement of low resistance in ohms up to megger range. It is possible to accurately measure the voltage (V), which is primarily required for verification of electronic design elements.

If you need only check whether it is applied voltage (V), then it is suitable for simple control light (A). However, this is only valid for the electric circuit, in which no electronic parts. Yet the electronic components are extremely sensitive to very high currents. Under certain circumstances, they may be damaged even if you connect a control bulb.

A warning

When checking the electronic components (transistors, diodes and control nodes) should be used high-impedance voltage indicator (B). It works the same as the control light, but without damaging the electronic components, and is suitable to perform all control operations.
